Maintaining the facility may not feel glamorous or exciting, but these everyday essentials are what keep the program running smoothly. These needs aren’t always flashy, but they’re necessary.
When the equipment is running smoothly, the program runs more smoothly. Less attention to struggling equipment means more attention for struggling teens. There is only so much time in a day, and making sure that the teens at RSR get great care is much easier when we can focus on helping them.
Provide stability and support these quiet, foundational needs:
Classroom Chairs - $100
It’s hard to focus and easy to be distracted when you’re uncomfortable. In a classroom full of struggling teens, your gift clears away distraction, replaces discomfort with calm, curiosity, and the hope of a better future.
Replace Pews - $500/pew
Chapel, study hall, student intake, video call with parents, band practice, one-on-one discipleship… The chapel does it all, and with interlocking church chairs instead of pews it can be even more versatile. Your gift creates a safe, welcoming environment for everyone who enters.
Sowing Hope - $750
Each year, the students take part in planting a large garden. The students experience a sense of accomplishment and satisfaction when they eat the literal fruit of their labour. Your gift plants hope and produces patience and perseverance in the students’ lives.
Ready for Anything - $1,000
When the walk-in cooler broke down, we had to act immediately so life could continue without disruption. Your support ensures that unexpected costs don’t get in the way of these young men getting the care they need!
