Your Gift Creates a Summer of Hope
Every year, around this time, I start to get questions about summer at Rock Solid Refuge. What do the students do during the summer? Does the program look any different than other times of year? Is it just more of the same?
Summer at Rock Solid Refuge is filled with Equine Assisted Learning, Outdoor Leadership training, Family Camp, and many, many adventures. Some of these young men have never had a summer that wasn’t just wandering the streets, playing endless video games, or binge watching the latest R-rated TV series. Summer at RSR shows the students that there’s more to life than their dysfunctional habits.
It is my hope that this booklet will show you the types of activities the boys enjoy in the summer and how you can partner with them. With your support, this could be the most important summer of the students’ lives. With you, this summer will truly be a Summer of Hope!
