Make a difference in the lives of struggling teens

For over ten years, Rock Solid Refuge has been working with 13 - 18 year old boys with addictions, behavioural challenges, or other life-controlling issues. Rock Solid Refuge challenges teens to take responsibility for their recovery through faith and discipleship, education, and life skills. As they mature in all areas of their lives, they are enabled to confront life’s challenges with confidence.

Youth Care Worker

Responsibilities

• Student mentoring
• Engaging one-on-one, supervising daily student activities including:
- Daily work projects
- Sports
- Games
- Student growth development
- Chores

• Ensure student safety and compliance with program expectations

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong in building relationships with youth
• Driver’s license
• Strong, supportive references
• Personal relationship with Christ from an Evangelical point of view
• An understanding of integrating the Christian faith in relating to students
