Summer Adventure
The students at Rock Solid Refuge have done many risky things. It’s normal for a teen to seek out challenge and danger, to push themselves. This can be channeled in positive ways and negative ones. Providing structured, safe ways for the teens at RSR to push the boundaries and grow both individually and as a group.
Overcoming challenges brings people together. Not just the students bonding with one another, but also bonding with the staff. Lifelong friendships and mentoring relationships form through the adversity overcome together.
Grow these relationships by supporting any of the following needs:
Gas to Town - $50
Simple trips to town may seem mundane, but they give the student a chance to step outside their daily routine and engage with the world around them. These moments allow for little conversations that sow the seeds for big change. Your gift makes these trips possible.
Bible Camp - $200
Spending a week at Bible Camp, learning about Christ and being in fellowship with peer believers, is something many of our students have never experienced. Your gift gives one student the classic Summer Camp experience at Valley View Bible Camp in the Frenchman River.
Vehicle Maintenance - $500
It may not be glamorous, but it’s essential. Reliable vehicles ensure that ALL of the summer events can happen even when the unexpected happens. Your gift is a promise that every student gets the summer they need!
Wilderness Trip - $800/student
Each year the students spend a week in northern Saskatcheawan. Incredible memories and lasting bonds are forged around the campfire and fishing out on the lake. Your support gives the students the gift of friendship while experiencing the wonder and majesty of God’s creation.
