Trust in the Lord with all your heart
and lean not on your own understanding;
In all your ways submit to Him,
and He will make your paths straight.
Proverbs 3:5-6

Dear Lord,
I ask that You would give me trust today. Trust in You. That I would lean myself wholeheartedly on You and Your strength.

You see things in ways that I cannot. You understand what’s going on in my heart just as You understand what’s going on in my child’s heart. Help me to trust You.

It’s hard when I can’t see around the corner, Lord. When I don’t know what’s coming next. I trust that You do, Lord. Give me the faith and the hope necessary to trust You to hold me through this time of trial and all trials that are still to come.

I trust You with my child, Lord. I trust in Your goodness and Your Holiness. Even when things are hard, even when things are impossible, I trust You, Lord. Be with my child and protect them, I pray. When I cannot be there for them, in the places I cannot be, I ask that You would be there with them and that Your goodness would follow them. Give me the trust I need to lean on You and not on my own understanding.

In Jesus name, Amen.
