The Lord is close to the broken-hearted
and saves those who are crushed in spirit.
Psalm 34:18

Dear Lord,

Thank You that You are close to me. When I feel most alone, You are here. When I feel beaten and broken, You are here. When life seems its darkest, You are here.

Knowing that I am not alone in this life is so incredibly encouraging. Help me to feel Your presence in those moments. When I feel crushed and broken-hearted, remind me of Your presence with me. Give me that hope and support, I pray.

You hear every prayer, Lord, spoken and unspoken. Your promises never fail. I pray that You would save me from despair and give me hope for a future. For myself, but especially for my child, Lord. It can be so easy to lose hope, but You are mighty to save. Do not forget Your servant in my hour of need. Lift me out of the pit of despair and let me rest on Your promises.

I thank You for Your goodness and mercy that renews each day. Heal my broken heart, Lord, and guide me on the paths of righteousness and peace. Help me to praise You and glorify Your name even in my brokenness.
