Children are a heritage from the Lord,
offspring a reward from him.
Psalm 127:3
Dear Lord,
I thank You for my children. Thank You for blessing me with them. I am incredibly grateful for the gift that they are, even when it gets hard.
Help me to keep in my heart the reality that they are a gift from You, a blessing to be cherished. Remind me of this when things are hard and I don’t know how to keep going. Grant me Your grace and patience in my dealings with them that they may see Your goodness and mercy through me.
Lord, I ask that Your light would shine through me into their life. In these hard times and in the years to come, I pray that my actions today will be like a lighthouse showing them the safe way through the storm. That they would look back on our interactions and see the way that You are working. Be glorified in me.
I am a willing vessel for You and Your word, Lord Jesus. I pray that You would fill me up and help me bless my children. They are my reward and my heritage from You. Thank You for them and for the love You have given me for them.
In Jesus name, Amen.
